Ice sledding!

What a hoot! Breck dreamed this fun up! I just love his curious mind! Instead of snow sledding we ice sled in this country on our swimming pool kick boards :) I fell just trying to walk on it but they seem to do just fine walking back up after sledding down.

a little piece of christmas cheer

Breck and Kacey were not sure what Santa had brought them as they looked at cable and rope and pulley's.... but soon it dawned on them that it was a zip line (pardon the half dressed little boy, not sure what happened to his bottom half!)

Christmas Morning

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.... the kids were all tucked snug in their beds...
the boobie trap was set to keep them upstairsbut lo and behold I heard whispers christmas morn that Breck had awoken and snuck down the stairs..so out of my bed I flew in a scurry to see what was up with my daughter who was in a hurry!
and to my discovery Breck HAD awoken early and snuck under the boobie trap to open up all of his Toys! (no joke... all by himself in the living room he opened all his presents and then came to wake his sister up!) Next time I am setting a better boobie trap :) Little stinker!
Here he is with all his prized possessions. When I told him I wa sad to not see him open them he replied "why mom, my face never changed!" So here he sits to watch Kacey open hers!
Kacey was delighted with every gift she opened. One of her main requests was a snuggy and this winter head band!

A few Christmas morning photo opps!
Here is my gift - stacked high! And I am SO excited for these cute jewels that my honey bought me!!!
This is what was inside... all individually packaged in little white boxes... so I had lots of "unwrapping" to do... they are such happy little plates - I can't wait to eat on them.
They have my favorite verse around the edges... I have come that you may have life and have it to the full John 10:10
I hope all of you enjoyed a piece of the life God has called you too this Christmas Season as you not only enjoyed your gifts of toys and family... but the gift of our Saviour!

Decorating Fun for all

Last night Mark and Jen and boys came over for an evening of food and fun!
We decided to make gingerbread houses since I had some left over from the school parties...
these two decorated quickly and went off to play...
but here is our more dedicated house decorators.
Dane made a great log cabin
Jen and I had much fun stepping in to finish decorating Breck and Anders' homes
And here is the finished product. It was such a fun night with our Chicago Family Members

Family fun for the Holidays....

Last weekend we took a trip to Branson and Silver Dollar City with Kristi's family and Uncle Josh... Besides it being 16 degrees the day we went to SDC... it was great fun and a trip we'll remember forever!
Dad and mom shared their condo with us and this picture was taken at the activity center

chatter chatter goes our teeth but we are trying to pretend that we are warm and toasty and loving waiting on the parade....that lasted 5 Minutes :)
Aren't they cute... and this is the REAL santa guaranteed!

Here they are writing their notes to Santa. Serious Business!
Posing in the Bass Pro shop -- how can one go to Branson and not shop here! We went a few times and fisherman Billy was in his element :) hmmmmm how did Billy escape all my photo opps... Kristi I hope you got your husband in some pictures :) and Jeff he was in Florida so missed out on all the fun... but he was cruising the everglades and looking at crocodiles (and coaching basketball!)

Miracle on Main Street!

Kacey was part of one of the local church's Christmas Programs this year titled Miracle on Main Street
They sang lots of very fun songs and she was one of the four narrators. She made her mommy proud. She said her parts just perfectly - loud and clear for all to hear!
She thought it was great fun to get to be in the program with her friend Madison
The stars of the show and their fans!
Kacey had lots of fans this night - we took up two rows of chairs!
Thank you to our fans for coming out to support Kacey Girl!

ugh!!!

Okay -- well my volume was off on my computer as I did my thanksgiving post so I did not know that my video montage came with this dumb music on it until Kristi mentioned my "choice" of songs HA!.... and now I've wasted too many minutes in my day trying to figure out how to get rid of it and in the process deleted my first post --- so sorry Kristi that has now deleted your sweet comment too.... some times my lack of technology savvy is quite irritating! If any of you out there use onetruemedia and can help me get the music OFF my video footage I would welcome your insights! For the time being I have just shut the volume off on the little video screen and hopefully that works!

Thanksgiving 2009

I am finally getting the Thanksgiving Pictures posted! It was so fun to be in the Kennedy's new home. We definately initiated every corner of it. I am thankful for all of you! I thought our share time was precious, it was fun to hear whatevery one was thankful for this year. I loved shopping in the "girls" boutique and buying such beautiful outfits and being fed peanuts as I shopped!!! Thank you Grammy for always doing fun crafts with the kids. We had to come home and buy more "wood" work to paint. And Thanks to Papa for teaching them how to chop wood :) A useful skill for all to know. I enjoyed our visits, our walks, watching movies on the "big screen", playing basketball with the kids, riding the zip line, holding baby Jackson and all the yummy food!
