Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is your day
The day we pause to honor who God has created you to be!
And to say Thank you that I get to call you Dad!
Life Lessons
You may have thought I didn't see,
Or that I hadn't heard,
Life lessons that you taught to me,
But I got every word.
Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we'd grow apart,
But Dad, I picked up everything,
It's written on my heart.
Without you, Dad,
I wouldn't be The woman I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.
I've grown up with your values,
And I'm very glad I did;
So here's to you, dear father,
From your forever grateful kid.

Happy Birthday Dad!
I hope you enjoy another outing to the Mountains to enjoy your special Day. God certainly "planted" you in the greatest "playground" around.
Love you to the moon and back! Love Gette

Pumpkin Art

Pumpkin Art done by Grammy and the Kids!
Kristi thinks it looks like it was done by a professional!
Thanks Grammy for this Fall Decor!

Bobsie Twins

LOL! Sorry Kristi I couldn't resist!!!
Our kids planned a game, the kids against the adults and one of the competitions was the best hair style. Dad had to fix Kristi's and Jeff had to fix mine!! Dad atleast used a comb on Kristi's! But Jeff was awarded the best hair dresser! I wonder about the judge sometimes.
Here is to remembering our childhood - although I'm sure glad mom only gave me two pigtails instead of the 6 or 7 I had on this particular night!

A day of golfing

Our family along with Joshua enjoyed a day on the golf course for Labor day! Originally it was going to be Josh, Jeff and Breck then Kacey wanted to tag along so I decided I would go enjoy the fun.
These few picture are of the professionals on the course!

Kacey LOVED escorting us around...
Breck did too!

The "boys"
and the "girls" showing our skill!

It was a fun day, but a very very Arkansas HUMID Hot day!

A Red Letter Day at JBU

As stated in the closing speach - the founder of JBU would have called this a Red Letter Day
It is a day that is long awaited for by its coaches, athletes, and fans!
Today was an "indoor" ground breaking of the new gym at JBU!
Here Mr. President is giving an example of how to throw the dirt when you are indoors!
Breck just learned today that his Uncle Chip is president of JBU and he thought that was "so cool"
Due to a very rainy day we got to celebrate in Murry Sells Gymnasium for one more time!
Below is Coach Sheehy, Coach Soda! and Coach Daughtery throwing their dirt
And Jeff's parents even got the honor of throwing dirt on this special day!
Celebrating and looking forward to many WINS in the new gym which will open for the school year of 2010-2011

Breck up on Ski's

Today was Breck's day to Ski. We first tried it behind the waverunner but it wasn't strong enough to pull both daddy and son completely out of the water and Breck isn't quite strong enough to keep the ski's together on his own so we moved to the boat.
Breck first wanted to watch daddy ski so he could mentally get it figured out....
...and here you go... up they came on the first try!
Very Fun for both daddy and son!

Back to School

Finally after almost completing our third week of school I am posting Back to School pictures!!
Here is Breck and his friend Sydney at open house
We were thrilled he got Mrs. Jackson which is who Kacey had in 1st Grade. We forgot to take pictures of Kacey at open house... we were all consumed by learning a new school!
The First Morning of School and tummies are full and they're ready to go!

And We're off! They both had their own private escorts on the first day of school!

One week later
It was the professor/Coach's first day of School
Isn't he cute with his backpack on and he has the coolest wheels on campus!
(for the day, we traded the jeep in the next day)
